Refund policy
Carlights Australia offers a 30-day return policy, allowing customers to initiate a return request within 30 days from the date of receiving their item.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:
- It must be in unused condition, identical to when it was received.
- It must be returned in its original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.
Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping costs, which are estimated at $15.
Return Process
To initiate a return, customers must contact Carlights Australia at info@carlights.com.au before returning the item. Upon submission of a return request, customers will be required to provide photographic evidence of the product in its unused condition for verification.
Once the return request is reviewed, Carlights Australia will notify the customer of its approval or rejection. If approved, return instructions, including the return shipping address, will be provided.
Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Refund Processing
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, Carlights Australia will issue a full refund, which will be processed within 3-5 business days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Warranty Policy
1-Year Limited Warranty Policy – LED Headlights
Effective Date: 01/01/2025
Carlights Australia Pty Ltd (“Carlights Australia”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides a 1-Year Limited Warranty on LED headlight products purchased directly from us.
1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies only to original purchased LED headlight units for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
2. Warranty Eligibility
This warranty applies only to the original purchased item.
If a warranty claim is approved and a replacement unit is issued free of charge, the replacement unit does not carry any further warranty coverage. The warranty is strictly limited to the original purchased product only.
3. Warranty Claim Requirements
To submit a warranty enquiry, customers must provide:

Clear photos of the LED unit

A clear photo of the bottom of the LED (fan area)

A clear photo of the power source connection, including the inside of the vehicle’s connector

The vehicle’s make and model

Proof of purchase
Failure to provide all required information may result in delays or denial of the warranty claim.
All claims are subject to inspection and approval by Carlights Australia Pty Ltd.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by incorrect installation

Damage caused during installation or removal

Misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification

Physical damage, water damage, or impact damage

Normal wear and tear

Compatibility issues due to incorrect vehicle application

Any product that has been tampered with or altered
Carlights Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to determine whether the damage is due to a manufacturing defect or external factors.
5. Shipping Costs
If a warranty claim is approved and a replacement is required:

Customers are responsible for applicable shipping fees
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
6. Remedy
Approved warranty claims will be resolved through:

No cash refunds will be issued under this warranty policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carlights Australia Pty Ltd shall not be liable for:

Labour or installation costs

Vehicle damage

Loss of use

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
8. Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is provided in addition to rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
